Ramon isn’t necessarily the nicest character I’ve ever created, but I can definitely sympathize with him in this scene. I’ve had coworkers like this, too. None of them ever talked about Nazi role-plays specifically, but there was one guy that was fascinated with auto-erotic asphyxiation and not very good about keeping it to himself. It came up once because we were talking about music and I was really into INXS at the time, but then afterward he couldn’t shut up about it.
Update on street art: Obviously, I have not been out selling art on the streets of Boston lately because it is winter and there is snow. I will be doing it again this spring when the weather improves.
If you like the art on “Misguided Light” and you happen to be in Boston, stop by Newbury Street near the corner of Mass Ave (Hynes Convention Center stop on the Green Line). I have been selling some art there — usually between 11 AM and3PM, and only when the weather is good.
I used zazzle.com to make a T-shirt celebrating Lady Hassana’s awesome psychic powers.

I might make some other stuff later, but don’t hold you breath because I have been pretty unproductive lately. Even though I don’t have a job at the moment, I still procrastinate on stuff at home. Between sleeping in a room with no windows, going to Germany a couple months ago, and pulling a night shift taking down the bleachers and floors in a circus tent a couple weeks ago, I have completely screwed up my sleep schedule. I think that makes it more difficult to be productive.
On the plus side, I feel better physically since I left my job. Sitting in a cubicle for 8 hours a day is not good for your health.
Thanks for visiting Misguided Light. I hope you like it. I will be adding new pages about once a week because that’s about as fast as I can draw them. The art is fun to draw, but it takes a while, and having a job sometimes makes it hard to find the time for creative endeavors like writing or drawing. I will occasionally post extra pages if I have a page that is mostly scenery or only has one or two panels since those are faster to draw.
